Ethan and Jacob's First Soccer Game

This was Ethan's very first soccer game and it was very exciting to see him play. Doug is helping to coach his team this year, which wasn't something he was planning on doing, but its worked out pretty well.

The soccer league here is lightyears ahead of the league Jacob played on in Washington. He's also on a really great team with some strong players which is pushing him to do better. I'm really excited to see where he will be at the end of the season.

More Pictures from Sacramento!

Staying at Robyn and Kevin's is always a lot of fun for the kids because Rachel and Caleb are so close in age to our kids. Audrey, Rachel, Ethan and Caleb played dress-up every day we were there!

Sacramento in July

We stayed with my sister Robyn and one of the days we were there we took the kids to Thunderland!

Family Game Night

Jacob completely annihilated us in Yahtzee tonight!

My Little Helpers

If it wasn't for Ethan, Audrey and Jacob helping me out today I never would have gotten the house clean. We got everything done except for the basement and it feels oh, so good to have a clean house again!!

Do you struggle with fear?

This summer I've been doing Beth Moore's bible study "Esther - It's Tough Being A Women." I was catching up on a DVD session I missed and found it to be a powerful message about fear. If you are struggling with fear I recommend listening to it. Here's a link to download the session for $4.99 http://www.lifewaystores.com/lwstore/product.asp?ISBN=1415867542&crossSell=true. Also, if you haven't had a chance to do her bible study on Esther I highly recommend it. It's been one of the most intriguing bible studies I've done. Esther is more like reading a novel and I've found that I can't wait to find out what happens next.
