Easter

The weather couldn't have been more perfect on Easter. We enjoyed a wonderful morning of going to two services together as a family because it was my week for volunteering in children's church. After that we headed over to the Jones' for a relaxing day of hanging out together.

This picture didn't do Audrey justice for how gorgeous she looked that day.
She was definitely a princess and she enjoyed every minute of it.

 Ethan, Audrey and Jacob
Cooperating as much as possible to take pictures. The really wanted to start looking for eggs.
 Ready, Set...
 GO!!!!
"Baby" Jacob wasn't sure what the hurry was about!

I think everyone was happy with the amount of eggs they found!

Pictures of us were an after thought as we were getting ready to leave to go home.
One of these days I'll remember that pictures of the parents are just as important as the kids.

Magic House with Grandma Vivi

Doug's mom came out to visit us for a week in March. It was a great spending time together. She joined us for homeschooling and the kids loved showing off all they knew. Then, on Saturday we went to the Magic House in St. Louis. It had been awhile since we'd been there so it was a lot of fun for everyone.

They had a section set up with imaginary play from the Magic Tree House books. Since we've read a lot of their books they really enjoyed it.

Their favorite part of the Magic House is the Lewis and Clark trail. We've been studying US history this year, so they understood a lot about the things that were there.

Grandma Vivi and Audrey had a great week together. They were like two peas in a pod.

Indoor Soccer

I realized on their last day of indoor soccer, which was March 10th, that I had not taken any pictures for the whole season. Audrey played in the first 8 week session and Jacob and Ethan played in both the first and second 8 week session. The boys improved over the 16 weeks and we can't wait to see them play again in the fall.
